I recently stayed at Host Inn Lyon - Hypercentre Vieux for a week-long vacation with my friends. The hotel was beautifully decorated with a quirky and imaginative style. The apartment had two bedrooms and was fully equipped with kitchen equipment, bathroom appliances, and even a Nespresso coffee machine with capsules. We enjoyed spending time in the living room playing board games that were provided. The location was excellent, just 50 meters from a metro hub and two funicular railways, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The apartment was on the 4th floor of a historic building, offering great rooftop views. Getting the keys from the coded keybox was easy thanks to the clear instructions provided.
I can just recommend this hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience. The apartment was well-designed and cozy, with comfortable furnishings and plenty of space to relax. We loved how the two bedrooms were like little sleep pods, each with its own closet. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of the old town, with easy access to the metro, grocery stores, restaurants. the welcoming touches, such as personalized signs and premium toiletries, made us feel special and well taken care of.
The only downside we encountered was the lack of an elevator. The climb up to the fourth or fifth floor, depending on the room, was a bit challenging, especially when carrying luggage.

The apartment was in the perfect location, right in the heart of the city. We were able to easily explore all the main attractions and restaurants nearby. The apartment itself was bright and airy, making it a pleasant place to stay. We loved the fact that we had a fully equipped kitchen, which allowed us to cook our own meals and take advantage of the amazing food markets and wine shops. It felt like a home away from home.
One thing to note is that the apartment is on the upper floor, so there are quite a few flights of stairs to climb. However, for us, this wasn't a big issue as we saw it as a way to burn off all the delicious food we were enjoying in Lyon.
